I have NO F*CKING IDEA why Oda spends so much time on showing random arc exclusive characters AND THEIR FUCKING REACTIONS so much and takes away the spotlight from his main characters. I don't understand which purpose this is supposed to serve.

This Is the main weakness of One Piece since post-timeskip. Instead of focusing on his main characters or secondaey characters relevant to the overall story Oda will spend 50% of the screentime on irrelevant arc only mediocre side characters. I liked Paulie in W7/EL but with current Oda it is TOO MUCH
Most people will forget the majority of scabbards once Wano is over

The scabbards are all better than every single allied character in enies lobby lol. People on worstgen really be saying shit like I miss good side characters like Peeply Lulu and Paulie

Wano has had more focus on the crew and their fights than any part of one piece, pre or post lol. Usopp not having a fight at all yet has done more to help the crew than usopp taking out weak women in every other arc except dressrosa where it actually mattered who he took out. At least here he's actually doing his role, support
