But they don't look like good animation. Some kids draw them on paper and they did basic stop-motion thing. They even changed the story.
I remember thinking Nami was introduced first in the story. Not to forget that loguetown scene where Luffy goes to some bar and drinks milk.

The animation in the special episodes (episode of Nami/Merry etc.)is not good imo.
