Yeah exactly. We almost had a female Admiral with Gion but I refuse to believe the Marines couldn't have more Admirals, such a ridiculous excuse.
Sure, he might have struggled to fit her and Chaton into the plot ( or even anymore Admirals generally) or not had plans for them but he's admitted to a lot of unplanned stuff which turned out to be amazing too or at least good to great so it could have worked.
After what happened at Marineford too, the Marines needs more Admirals and given the meteoric rise of Luffy and Blackbeard especially as well as 2 Yonkos making an alliance and whatever else is going on in the world, they should really get more Admirals, even just 1 more at least. I really wanted to see an Orange themed Admiral too and to continue the Zodiac themes, the colour combining in the new Admirals (Red and Blue and thus Akainu and Aokiji for Fujitora and Blue and Yellow for Green Bull, Aokiji and Kizaru naturally.)
If GB was female, Oda would downplay her so hard in some way though. We could have had a badass female samurai/swordswoman with Kiku and although she identifies as female ofc, she is biologically male so Oda couldn't even let her be female by default. It's ironic given how brutal he has been on Kiku and clowning her too, very frustrating and upsetting too.
I'm so happy Gion/Momousagi is actually canon but I doubt she'll have any big role sadly. She would even be perfect for Luffy's mother potentially based on her personality and design imo, along with going with what Oda said about Luffy's mother being like.
I'm really worried for Boa now too especially with Koby going to her and whether it really is just him or if he's gonna have some kind of backup too or even the SSG's new weapon or so?
I would have loved at least 1 female new Admiral, either the Green one or an Orange one with an Energy based fruit too. Nature and Energy fruits or so. If it was the Green Admiral who was female and had the plant DF, we could have Oda's version of Poison Ivy too potentially lo., who also is one my fave Batman characters along with Mr Freeze and Harley Quinn.

Omfg I keep calling that bastard sumo Hashirama! I'm creating an even more disturbing reality or at least headcanon here now...His name is Urashima ofc! I've been talking about Naruto to a friend lately and looking stuff up about it so it's confused my brain even more hahaha.
It feels as if Oda wasn't sure yet about Kiku's gender.

Aye. In a way its a blessing too as he has an openly transgender character canonically here (although god knows there is the endless controversy over whether Yamato is too) and I really wish Kiku could meet Ivankov and get what she really seems to want, also ideally for Law to help her get her arm back somehow or some kind of regenerating DF to grow a new one lol.
Zoro did see her arm fall down and was enraged by it like the actual legend he is so I'm hoping the arm might get recovered somehow and still be intact and can be reattached by Law and Kiku will have her arm back then ofc. Otherwise she's gonna be like a fSamurai Shanks hahaha.
I still mourn and weep for how Oda handled and ultimately wasted and ruined Tashigi too. I was so hyped for her to truly be strong post TS finally and be a real rival and threat to Zoro and a sort of "not dead Kuina" for him but yeah, sigh.... Tashigi is still great as a character and does have some great skill too but what Oda did with her and Smoker with Punk Hazard made me hate that arc immensely for those reasons alone but also some other ones too.
Encanto has an amazingly powerful, badass, lovable, relatable, vulnerable, loving, caring, protective, strong and yet still beautiful and wonderfully feminine etc female character who doesn't even need to focus on her gender and just literally lifts, helps people, puts others before herself, always trying to be their shield, their guardian and protecting them over her own safety. A truly benovolent hero or heroine as you could say ofc.

It definitely does but I can't agree with Kiku's arm tbh. Alhough at least Kiku is not dead either ofc. We definitely need some actual deaths though but knowing Oda, he will actually kill off the characters we do really like and care about the most. I have a feeling he's going to get very sadistic with how well things are going, how the tension is lessening and all the death fakeouts and BS and such.
I just wish Oda would get this Onigashima storyline over and done with, so sick of waiting to see if it's gonna fall or not, if we're gonna end in tragedy or not and feeling like this is another Dressrosa - Birdcage situation or DBZ Namek waiting to explode even .
I think some real permanent deaths are coming and I'm dreading that Yamato might genuinely be one of them tbh.
But I can't see both her and Kaido dying although I think Kaido will die too, so it's a tough one. But Whitebeard and Ace were like father and son, Kaido is Yamato's father ofc and she is regarded like his son rather than his daughter and she wants to be like Oden and adores Ace too, so she is "like a man" too at least in her beliefs and actions and such too ofc.
Yasuie's death was a real surprise and I was worried Oda would give us a fake out with Kanjuro taking his body but it seems like he won't ofc. Kanjuro was known to take hair from corpses for his paintbrushes so he could have had a sadistic moment where he mocks the Scabbards by using a paintbrush modelled after Yasuie in some way, with his hair especially and reminding them of him but being desecrated by Kanjuro after his death and as a weapon agaisnt them too.
Yasuie's death was also tragic especially when it was revealed in a VC that he's not even Toko's father but he adopted her and pretended to have eaten a Smile fruit to make her less alone and uncomfortable, less of a "freak" or "odd one out" or something. Stuff like that along with Senor Pink is some genuinely masterful writing by Oda tbh.
Prince of Persia is from the 90s (Oh 1989 apparently actually) and that era of it is from early 2000s so yeah lol. That's if you were genuinely asking and not sarcastic ofc!
