Q. Why do Luffy starting melting at the end of last chapter??
A. It is revealed in this chapter that Sanji's ifrit jambe changed the tempature around him each time he uses it. on onigashima got hotter and tempature is raising which causes luffy rubber body to start melting. So Sanji can only use ifrit jambe as a last resort due to not wanting to harm others
