I think its either Luffy already beats Kaido or the alliance as a whole beat him down by end of chapter

I doubt the alliance is going to beat him down as Oda wouldn't resist making Luffy arrive as the big savior.
I can only see that happens if this so Kaido finally resort to using his awakening
