Hmm. When I do a rewatch I'll TRY to look at if from that perspective... I suppose my dislike just comes of the fact that he seems to be another nagato. As in a former good guy who went down the wrong path but after talking to naruto he overcame the darkness etc. if that's the case why not just cut out the middle man and have nagato be the big bad of the final war instead.

Nagato and Obito are not that similar if you think about it. Nagato just went on this angry rampage without a plan, while Obito got brainwashed by Madara that the world simply sucks. And Obito additionally convinced himself that the world is worthless since he’ll make a new one, and every sacrifice and horrible thing he did in it didn’t matter. Apart from when Rin died, he never ever killed out of anger.

Made a rational decision that the world is horrible and put in hard work to change it.

Not caring about Kakashi showed how convinced he was. If he had reacted to him in anger, that would be a boring manga trope

Honestly I really enjoyed Sakuras post TS glow up out of the main 3, what they got from the Sannins. Naruto was the most underwhelming despite having the legendary Jiraiya and being the MC.

Sakura becoming fully focused on medical jutsu and gaining Tsunades super strength especially is something I really loved. I love the recent idea someone had on here of her being an Earth bender too. Naruto version of Toph?

Sakura was meant to be a Genjutsu specialist too lol.
