Bought Mario 3D world a while ago, didn’t enjoy it at all and just when I was about to curse myself for wasting money again I tried out the bowsers fury portion of the game, it was a complete feast and I couldn’t stop myself from playing

The ancient setting was genius to play around with new mechanics

I initially thought that being a time traveler was weird but it makes perfect sense since as the player, you would already know a lot about pokemon. So sending you back in time makes it seem like both you and the protagonist are out of place in that environment

Highly reccomend. Tons of great 1st party titles. Smash and Mario Kart alone make it worthwhile for me. But there's endless top tier games that are only on switch. Xenoblade 3 and Bayonetta 3 are this year too
