how do you like it gen4?

So far it's not wowing me tbh.

There's a lot and I mean a lot of tutorials and hand holding. The Chancy thing in this forest is like.. An auto-heal? I don't need to strategize or think about going through this forest cause I can dick around every battle and it won't be a problem.

I don't think there's been enough trainers up until this point. And I'm not loving the pokemon selection either but TBH Sapphire also had shit pokemon at the start of the game so it's nothing this gen specific.

Gen 4 has the WORST pacing in the franchise.
Maybe, MAYBE the sun/moon gen top it.
Platinum tries to "fix it", but it's still atrocious, especially the beginning of the game.
Good pokedex, though.

But triple battles in Gen 5 is where it‘s at.
