The guy that created the walls has the power of the Founding Titan, who can control all titans.

This power has been passed on in each generation, until it gets in the hands of Eren.

So each time there's someone capable of destroying the world, if they wanted, that's what stops the rest of the world.

Why can't we just get manga based on mythology , Not just references.

Greek , Norse mytholgy adaption into manga and If a good company Makes anime adpation it will break the internet.
