Oh, right, you are talkin about being queen of Zou. Completely agree with you. It's bullshit. She ain't the type of character destined to rule, nor fit for the role. This demonstrates how Oda intended her to be a Strawhat but somewhere along the line changed his mind and Yamato appearead last sec. Therefore, the stupid excuse of her having to rule Zou. Here's hopin the eventual cover story/role in the final war is good.
I wouldn't even be against Carrot getting this position if there was actual build-up towards it. Like if there was even 1 scene of her rallying the other minks and leading them then it would've worked. But depending on what the full raws show it might simply be an obvious cop-out to get her out of the story.
