They were hyping up something with Carrot too but I'm skeptical as fuck.

I wouldn't get too hopeful after 4 years of this awful arc, especially for her too. Carrot is like that cutesy, adorable girl whose a little awkward but endearing, trustworthy and such but gets overshadowed by the far louder, more energetic, more "well endowed" and confident and thus popular girl or however that trope/cliche goes lol.

I want to be optimistic but I can't be anymore. Not at all.

Carrot gets clowned and offscreened, then gets candy bondage in the anime, while Yamato is getting stonks all over the place.

I like Yamato more than Carrot, but I think Carrot is a cool character, and I wish she had more time. This is why I wish there were less characters in Wano. It just seemed impossibly to fit everything in the arc.

Exactly. Carrot is underrated/an underdog and Yamato is more of the lucky one and the "pick me girl". I do like some things about Yamato buts getting more difficult to like her too.
