Like legit I can’t think of a single piece of anime or manga content that is peak fiction.

Like specific arcs in some stories are (Marineford, Golden Age, Yorknew, etc) but literally nothing I’ve seen/read is getting higher than like an 8.5 at best from me.

The thing is, fiction is a catch all term. There is a ton of categories out there. You might not like all of them. Also, every story will have ups and downs. Almost no story is gonna have straight 8+ arcs all the way through.
