Do you guys remember when you were younger, before you used or understood the internet that much, and your opinions on things were completely based on only your own thoughts and maybe inputs from other people around you?

I feel like with the internet, even if by very little, the "voice of the people" end up interfering on your opinions about things

I remember it was very weird for me growing up and learning some movies i enjoyed were considered trash by the internet

Spider-Man 3 (15 years ago, holy shit) is a good example, i thought that movie was really fun as a kid

At the time, the "emo" thing was quite strong, but there was also a backlash at it.
So, when "emo peter", that we now call "bully maguire" appeared, people were really mad at it.

I used to enjoy One Piece when catching up and not interacting with the community at all

after being caught up i was still enjoying One Piece weekly, but after starting reading / listening people talk about it, my enjoyment started decreasing

and yet, i keep doing it, instead of just staying away from it and maybe enjoying the series more

My opinion about sword art online.
I started hating it at some point because of internet opinion
Now fuck it it's peak fiction. Yeah there are bad parts but which story doesn't have it.
Same with fairy tail but now it's what I like what I like.

Hey at least we got some info and their basic fighting styles out of this movie one way or other.

Seems like the clash between Shanks and BB is inevitable with this exposure being revealed in movie. I still am hoping for a chapter with crew vs crew before off screening the fight.
