That's not even the main issue, think about Sabo here. If Lulucia really is, say around the middle mark of Paradise, so somewhere near Alabasta or Jaya, then how would Sabo even get there this fast after the Reverie. If Sabo's intention is the escape quickly, he would probably not choose to travel around half the globe to Lulucia.
So yeah I agree with you, the moment Oda planned for Sabo to land on Lulucia, it had to be somewhere in the New World, plus the Eddy thing, even though there are now open questions with Ace's cover story. That was the trade-off for Oda.

The sabo thing can be explained by Kuma zapping him with his last bit of conscience. Same happened to bonny i guess.

That would be interesting, for Sabo it would make sense, I also believe Vivi might have escaped that way, hence why she's not with Sabo or anyone else.
With Bonney it would be funny, because if the Eddy is just a big water thingy/natural phenomenon in that area (and not connected to Lulucia's destruction), then Kuma would have propelled her into the ice cold sea
