Middle-Earth: Shadow of Mordor/War enemy types:
Uruk-Hai
-Warriors (Armed with swords)
-Archers (Armed with bow and arrows)
-Hunters (Armed with spears)
-Defenders (Armed with a shield and a staff)
-Berserkers/Savages (Armed with double battle axes) *Immune to normal attacks must stun before killing*
Olog-Hai
-Olog Warrior (Armed with a club)
Rank variations:
Captain-Captains are promoted Uruk/Olog with a health bar and a set of strengths and weaknesses
For example they can have strengths such as:
-A poison/elemental weapon
-Immunity to poison
-immunity to fire
-they can track you
-they can be enraged by pain thus granting them extra damage and a refill of health and ect;
Weaknesses:
-Weak to stealth
-Fear of burning
-Beast fodder
-Clumsy (Meaning they can be grabbed and thrown without you stunning them)
-Dazed by headahots
(Ofc there are many more strengths and weaknesses I just can’t list them all lol)
Next rank:
Warchief-They’re basically the same as captains with more power and troops. They can have up to 3 captain body guards all with strengths and weaknesses of their own so it’s best to kill or brand them first before confronting the warchief or it’ll be harder for you to win
Final rank:
Overlord-alone? They’re practically identical to captains and warchiefs but with FAR greater power! You’ll need a literal army to bring them down
they also have 6 captains/warchiefs you’ll need to fight in your siege in order to get to the overlord. You can even recruit them to fight for you
Beasts:
Caragors-Untamed giant cat like creatures with
VERY durable skin. When overwhelmed, it’s best to shoot down caragor bait, they’ll attack any and everything in sight as they’re ruthless
In shadow of war the uruks and ologs actually tame them. You can even tame and ride them yourself!
Dire caragors-bigger and stronger caragors clad in white fur. They have more health and the rest of the caragor pack follows it’s lead
Caragoth-The caragor’s stealthy cousin. They hide in bushes, waiting for pray then they maul them to death in an ambush
Graugs-Giant ogre like creatures who you can mount
Great white graug-A boss fight in mordor. It’s just a bigger graug with a cooler design
Horned graug-Just a graug with a horn (Lol)
Wretched Graug-Spews poison that absolutely dissolve’s enemies
Elemental Graugs:
Fire/Volcanic Graug-Spews fire and Magma
Ice Graug-Spews ice
Poison Graug-The wretched graug replacement from the first game. It spews poison
Ghul-Tiny creatures that mostly only come out at night. Alone, they are fodder but dangeros when all togethe. They have very toxic spit that drains health quick
Ghul Matron-The bigger and more giant female ghuls. They have sharper claws and can take more of a hit+also spew powerful poison. They only come out if you kill enough of their underlings
Nazgul-Ghost like creatures whom you have to counter before you can attack with your ring/wraith like abilities
There’s also bosses like the witch king, sauron, the hammer, the tower and the hand of sauron+sauron himself. But this is solely about enemy types
