how is it not comparible?
Well, being shot the sword out from your hand when you're a swordsmen and Katakuri not being able to change the future dispite the fact that he saw it, is not the same thing.

In case of Katakuri he really did change a lot due to his FS; he was the first to jump in front of Big Mom before Luffy jumped out of the cake in order to protect her even though she doesn't need any protection

The mirror was inside the cake and the only way to stop Luffy from entering the stage is if Katakuri destroys the Cake itself, but he can't do that because of Big Mom hence he says that he can't stop it but he still jumps in front of Big Mom to protect her, and the situation with Brook and Luffy is similar to that.

That's totally deferent from King's situation because first, King doesn't have FS so he can't see the future like Luffy and Katakuri can, as mater of fact Luffy predicted the attack before it happened. And King not having the FS is not a point to downplay him or shit on him, even though I put Katakuri above any commanders I still think King is a fairly strong character, it's just that the beast pirates powers are based on durability above anything else including haki. The reason why the sword being shot out of your hand is not portraying King in good way is because he's a swordsmen (to a degree I guess) I'm not saying it's bad for king or that he's weak because of that it's just losing your sword as a swordsmen is not good thing but it's not making king weake so people shouldn't be mad about it ether. People are indeed right when they say "it wouldn't happen if Katakuri was there" because Katakuri has FS and is arguably the strongest CoO user in the series but it doesn't mean that King is any worse because of that, because as i said the beast pirates powers are based on durability above anything else including haki.
