Dpends on the item. You gotta factor in the quality of the piece you're wearing as well. An 80 dollar jacket would be a horrible investment as far as i'm concerned. Cheaply made and not gonna last you a long time unless it's denim maybe. I like leather jackets, and good quality leather jackets don't run cheap at all.

Of course, stay away from designer shit, you're mostly paying for the brand, to try and fit in with a certain crowd.
