Yeah but he didn't say "Kill" and we didn't see the dead body in the manga. So since it's OP i'll never assume he's dead just based on that lol
But in the anime they collected his dead body and said he's dead. So it's probably true since I have a hard time thinking the anime will include a scene that confirms a character's death without checking with Oda.
