Do you guys think Mihawk will be more fleshed out before the end of the series?
I love both my boy Zoro and Mihawk, but i feel like Mihawk has been a very one-dimensional character from the start, created only to be a end goal for Zoro. All we know about him is that he is obsessed with strength and finding those who are worthy to fight him, he also enjoys punishing those who are a weak but think they are strong (even though he seems able to judge those who are currently physically weak but have promises of greatness in the future)
But we still don't know anything about him, will he interfere in the Final War whatsoever? because the truth is that i don't see him caring for either side, since taking down the Government won't erase the fact that he is a pirate and will be forever hunted down since there's no more Seven Warlords System, and i don't think he really cares for the Celestial Dragons and all that stuff.
We just don't know enough about him, at least i think so. Maybe he cares about Perona? and she seems to be going into danger, that could be a motivation.
