I actually wouldn't mind that conversation.
It extremely f*cked up, traumatizes Guts so much that he won't let others touch him, and it begins a character arc that culminates in one of the best romantic scenes I've ever read.

The romance between Guts and Casca was so short lived. Guts even walked away from it. It’s more like a fling.

The real romance is Guts and Griffith. It’s like Romeo and Juliet betw two men except one wants to kill the other. And the other has moved on to better

After that though, Guts wants to kill him while Griffith doesn’t care about him at all (allegedly).
