But Garp is NOT an "Uncle Iroh".
Remember Marineford?
Garp would be fighting Sengoku the entire fucking war trying to save Ace. There's NO WAY he would sit there and be divided between duty and family.

I don't think that makes Garp bad. It's just that it makes him quite different from Iroh.
