I didn't even keep up with the latest arc but i'm more than satisfied with what i got out of it years ago from my first read through.

• 994 focused on Yamato protecting Momonosuke and declaring that her name was Yamato.
• 999 focused on Yamato and Ace's flashback.

Even in 1000 — the Luffy centric chapter — Yamato showed up more than Luffy.
