Eh, the Enma and Oden connection sets up a plausible path for a Zoro vs Kaido battle. It's not particularly probable, but there's more to support Zoro facing Kaido than Sanji facing Katakuri.

same way katakuri is food and sanji is cook, they both in food island, in food themes family. sanji had more reasons to fight BIg mom pirates then anyone. also both specialize at coo.

kaidou and zoro don't even know eachother until fire festival.
