Actually, this was peak Luffy:
Unfortunately not even this led to him to have any sort of character development, maturing even a bit, having his iq and seriousness rise by any amount. This was the perfect moment to bring One Piece to the next level and making it more of a Seinen. Very unfortunate. Post TS One Piece is not good and lives only from the hype it potentially could have, and the world building + cast.

Prediction
Heart Pirates land at the Udon port. Luffy is awake and anxious to go. He doesn't clearly remember what happened.
Shinobu and Momo land somewhere in Udon, using Shinobu's ninja kite. They see Onigashima floating towards the capital.
Luffy and the Heart Pirates appear, as soon as the meet, They both start hearing voices, Momo says one of the voices is that of his father.
Luffy hears the voice of Gol D Roger, and says "It looks like you received my message... Joy Boy!", He then recites his final speech before he was executed".
Otama gives the order for the gifters to fight on the samurai's side and tells the gifters she plans on joining Luffy's crew after this since Luffy is Ace's brother.
The Gifters immediately switch sides and the numbers are starting to even up. Chopper confirms Zoro's injuries are fractures and not broken and says he'll give him an medicine that will speed up the healing. Zoro immediately feels the effects after eating.
End of the chapter, Luffy is riding on Momo flying, they are both laughing and crying, "Luffy says, let's stop that island from reaching the capital".
