The problem is that getting Disarmed is just the first thing, like i said that's what it started.

Then he fails to protect his captain.

Then he fails to stop Momo from getting saved.

Then he fails to stop Zoro from getting to the roof.

Then he fails at defeating Marco so he could go to the rooftop, and now he is fighting him for over 20 chapters while his crew is getting obliterated by the invaders, half of his men turned against him and his F6 officers are defeated.
I mean, again, is any of that worse than getting manhandled and cuffed by a vice admiral?

Marco after being cuffed failed to protect his captain
then failed to save ace
then failed to stop akainu from going after luffy
then fails to stop kizaru from going after the submarine
couldnt even react to crocoboy going after wb

It is to me. In a chaotic war, when you are worried about your father figure, with thousands of enemies in front of you, and one of them cuffs you from behind, that's fine to me compared to failing time after time.

Especially when you consider how much Marco had already done to protect Whitebeard and Luffy before that point.
