He isn't running for no reason, he literally said he's trying to figure out how to stop the process before losing his emotions
Without his emotions he's pretty much just a killing machine that would potentially kill innocents, that's what he doesn't want to become, no emotions means he won't be loyal to anyone and won't fight to protect others

Yes it is a W, if you think it's an L then just I don't, skip chapters and read only fights, just because oda gives a character development instead of fights doesn't mean he's handing that character Ls
If anything it just shows that oda likes sanji's character, which confirms my theory that sanji is probably oda's favorite after luffy, simple because of how much character highlight he got

BM vs Kidd and Law
Kidd transforms into a gigantic robot.
BM slashes at him but Kidd stops and attacks her with a new attack called "Punk Rotten Stratovarius"
Switch to Zoro vs King
King is now back in Zoan form
King uses an attack called "infernal sky"
This lights up the sky near onigashima and the people below can now see it coming.
King descends at zoro from the sky as fireballs rain all around them.
Zoro uses ISDS.
Zoros attack clashes with Kings beak.
Their attacks are not touching.
Fireballs stop raining as the flaming sky has split.
Hawkins sees zoro fighting King through a hole in the ceiling he pulls a card and its the chariot the card of Victory.
Break next week.
