Naruto filler is so much better than One Piece though

because you can just jump the filler episodes / arcs

it's not the canon episodes that get really stretched

every single batter you can think off, the anime did it great

even some random ones like:

Sasuke vs Deidara or Sasuke vs Danzo, all great

Yea I think I would prefer actual filler episodes instead of filler baked into the show itself
Though the BIG scratch against that is that it would be hell to watch the series weekly waiting for a new episode
Though it'd probably be better through a full rewatch

I'm telling you, rewatching Naruto right now, with a filler list to know what to jump, is a great experience.

Some episodes in earlier Naruto, and at the start of the Shippuden, can have a bit of slower pacing and stalling.

But it's never at the same level of One Piece or Dragon Ball.

Yep, I always just skip whatever anime original filler episodes, some are good though
Lol I remember there was an anime original episode where Naruto and Sasuke were stuck together and for some reason has pretty nice animation
