Fodder Beast Pirates was able to sink 2 ships of the Onigashima alliance on the route to Onigashima.
Doesn't mean anything since it's a naval battle thing and not in 1v1 combat.
He tried the most, that doesn't mean he's the most competent.
Queen legit turned thousands to the alliance through Ice Oni, that's a hard argument.
Though, King killed a bunch of fodders who saw his face. And if you're blaming King for that, Jack was stomping on fodders as well as he made his way to fight the Samurai after healing up from the rooftop.

Honestly I feel like he was the most competent beast pirate aside from Kaido.
