If Zoro stalemates him then he is admiral level. The point is to show that you can't just get to Luffy even if you are an admiral. It's also to mirror Rayleigh stalemating him, as Zoro is the right hand of the future PK. How can you miss these basic story telling cues? Learn to read the room.
