we are knowing Ben since chap 1, first mate of Shanks (Luffy mentor), biggest hype, and we saw him multiple times.
we are knowing Marco for a long time too, and he is the YC1 who had the biggest presence in the story. The Shanks/WB meeting, Ace flashback, MF, during the TS with BB, now Wano etc. And still has a plot with Weevil.
Kata was the main antagonist in WCI, was Luffy main fight, ended up in good terms with Luffy and will extremely likely appear again and be an ally.
Shiryu appeared in Impel down, MF, post skip, and BB is Luffy arch enemy.

King is just here to be Zoro play thing at the end of the arc.

Give up, King beat Marco 1v1 in base, King is more versatile fighter who uses sword hands legs fire beak etc and tanked a haki onigiri, he has 0 scratches and maintained his stamina to the point he looks like he just woke up from sleep lol.
