So currently, Law is fighting Teach. Given how Oda always parallels Kid and Law, I'm guessing that Kid will do something big sooner or later. A lot of people think this will be him fighting shanks, and while that could happen, I think the fight we're bound to see(if only a little bit, before its off-screened) is Kid vs Shiki.
Why Shiki? In regards to Law vs Teach, they have one thing in commmon, their powers. Both Law and Teach use shockwaves, law via awakening and teach via the gura gura no mi. I believe this was an intentional decision to parallel Law to Whitebeard, as both are rivals of a pirate king(even if Law isn't Luffy's equal).
For Kid, his DF allows him to use magnetism, allowing him to telepathically manipulate metal. If he has mastered his awakening by now, as Law has with his, he should be able to casually use assign. Assign allows Kid to make non magnetic objects magnetic. This could in theory, allow Kid to manipulate non magnetic objects telepathically by assigning them, making them magnetic, and then repelling them or otherwise controlling them with magnetism. What I'm saying is that if Law's awakening makes him more like WB, Kid's makes him more like Shiki.
I'm kinda grasping at straws, but I think the theory sounds interesting enough to post. What if WB, before his death, entrusted his poneglyph to Shiki, who protects it on elbaf. Due to a run in with Akainu, Shiki eventually became known as the burned man.
Anyways, what I think will happen is that Kid takes the 4th poneglyph from Shiki, but Shanks comes in and steals all of Kid's poneglyphs, including the 4th. This ultimately sets up Teach vs Shanks. Teach takes the ponglyph from Shanks, forcing Luffy to take it from Teach.
