Sucks to be him, unless that man is Brook :suresure:

Hawkins is an opportunist and pretty weak compared to people like Zoro, Sanji or even Franky (Law almost killed him with a casual swing of his sword), so he would always try to stay low unless his victory is more than probable. His opponent being dead in a hour would certainly convince him to do something
A pity Brook is already dead :milaugh:

Probably one of the most overused gags in One Piece, I'm quite sure Brook hasn't used it for a lot of time, perhaps not even once in the entire Wano arc.
And what better moment than his first 1 vs 1 to say it again? :finally:

Is Brook vs Hawkins going to happen?

I can see Oda deciding to make them fight just for the gags: being already dead, the afro being in danger if Hawkins needs an hair to make your puppet and who knows what else :shocking:

The one with 99% Chance of Dying is "Luffy" which is Tragedy of Onigashima Play
The 1% is Law using Eternal Youth Operation to Save Him

That is why Law & Hawkins talked about "Alliances" in Prison, because Hawkins Alliance Failed but Law's Worked
And when the Raid started, Hawkins obviously verified if Luffy can Win this Raid to see if Law is right by trusting Luffy, but Hawkins got 1% Survival Chance. That is why, he betrayed Drake afterwards & remained with Beasts Pirates

It's also a Way to convince Hawkins to stop relying on Chances & Predictions & show him that Willpower can overcome anything
Because the Will of Law to Sacrifice himself & Will of Luffy to continue Fighting (+ Other Supernova) will be the Reason New Gen wins

"Willpower" is a Major Theme of One Piece

Brooke's entire pre raid thing was pretending to be a ghost haunting people.
WYM he didnt use this gag once in Wano? He literally was....ahem...LIVING it. Despite being dead.
