Not gonna lie: The theory with the current time-time-fruit user appearing (doesn't matter if it is Toki or even Hiyori) and sending Kaido two weeks into the future, because he can't be sent any further, is actually quite intriguing.
On the other hand it also creates other problems.
What should they do with ten-thousands of beast pirates (including strong ones like King, Queen etc.) for two weeks?
How would that final fight against Kaido look, when he returns? Literally everyone could (and should) gang up on him then, it would be a mess for Oda to write that.

The Beast Pirates are collapsing right before our eyes. The arc is nearly 120 chapters long, and major plotpoints are winding down.
And Toki is dead. The one who healed the Scabbards was Hiyori, who will confront Orochi to wrap up that subplot.
The Raid failing was an interesting hypothesis at the start when we still had a lot to look forward to, but doing it at this point is just unnecessarily extending the arc. Wano doesn't have a lot more to offer. The story has to move forward.
