Ginny contracted sapphire scale after wearing a blue sapphire ring that was cursed by Saturn.
The celestial dragon that married Ginny gave the blue sapphire ring (cursed by Saturn) to Ginny, like we had in Peaky Blinders.
In Peaky Blinders, there is the curse of a blue sapphire necklace, which killed Tommy Shelby's first wife, Grace Shelby. The necklace was given by Tommy to his own wife.
Did Ginny follow a similar fate with the curse of a blue sapphire ring cursed by Saturn and given to her by the celestial dragon that married him?
What is even more intriguing is that there is a famous legend where King Solomon had a magical ring known as the "Ring of Solomon". The ring was made of Lapis Lazuli (Sapphire scale) and has an engraved hexagram or pentagram that gave him the power to command demons.
I don't assume nor believe Saturn is the one who married Ginny. In my eyes, he is only the one who cursed Ginny's ring with sapphire scale, maybe as a way to control relationships between celestial dragons and non-celestial dragons.
Maybe a celestial having a child with a non-celestial is forbidden and this triggers the death of the non-celestial and of the child, through a curse in the ring made by Saturn that initiates the disease in the hand that wears the ring.
What's even more intriguing is that each Elder is associated with a different gem and Law's "amber lead" could be due to another Elder's curse.
