Hi Worstgen,
The entire story is about the cultural beliefs and values of the Ancient Kingdom.
First Enemy - World Government
- The Great Alliance destroyed the Ancient Kingdom because members of The Great Alliance wanted to rob the Ancient Kingdom of Superior Technology.
- The Great alliance did not care about the Ancient Kingdom's cultural beliefs and values. They were too immature to use the Superior Technology properly.
- The Great Alliance turned into the World Government.
- The "Dawn" that will come signifies the return of the Ancient Kingdom's cultural beliefs and values.
- The "Dawn" that will come signifies the return of the Ancient Kingdom's Superior Technology.
- The "Dawn" will destroy the World Government to end the suffering of humanity under the rule of oppressors. Humanity will be liberated.
The World Government is acting as a type of antagonist that you cannot empathize for. They are WRONG. Period. We all expect the World Government to be beaten and brought to an end. This is an expectation we all already acknowledge.
Second Enemy - Blackbeard Pirates
- Blackbeard represents the Dark Side of the Ancient Kingdom's cultural beliefs and values.
- Luffy represents the Light Side of the Ancient Kingdom's cultural beliefs and values.
- Blackbeard and Luffy will fight, not to rule the world, but instead to judge it and determine the fate of humanity.
- Blackbeard will contest that Luffy's/Joyboy's beliefs and values did not work even during the Void Century when the Ancient Kingdom was prospering.
- Luffy will contest that Blackbeard's beliefs, which have existed since the Void Century, have ALWAYS been wrong especially back then.
In the end, Luffy will end up both destroying the World Government and the Blackbeard Pirates. By doing so, he will liberate the entire world and create a hopeful future where everyone agrees on the same beliefs and values. What is NOT expected is that Luffy and Blackbeard are going to fight over ethics and philosophy in an ultimate battle to decide the fate of humanity even after the World Government is no longer a threat. I even expect Luffy and whatever remains of the World Government at that point to attempt to fight the Blackbeard Pirates together.
... I can guarantee you that this is how it will end. It will be kind of lame in hindsight.
