My problem with this is that the final villain from OP shouldn’t just be some fledgling who inherited the will of the original evil or whatever, it should be the original evil itself.

Like imagine if in Naruto the final battle wasn’t against Kaguya but against a pretender using the Kaguya Justu. Madara never returned, instead the 4th Shinobi War was against a Madara fanboy utilizing the same jutsus Madara used. It loses something right?

If Imu isn’t the primordial evil but is just an inheritor, it would just suck imo.

Plus this doesn’t answer the question of why Imu is trying to flood the world. It would seem from this chapter like Imu is flooding the world to keep the original flame demon or whatever flooded under the ocean. So in that instance, the original flame demon would have to be worse than Imu if Imu is flooding the whole world to keep the thing buried.

I picture first world as gods world, like lots and lost of gods, some minor, some major... And then it trickles down to like four gods, then zero ?

But then the buildings look like our world, and I like the Adventure Time theory where it blew up and weird stuff happened. And everyone got mythologized like you say ?

I want both lol

I think Zoro and some other people will fight the Serpent of Flame lol. There is no way in hell Oda will allow Zoro to steal Luffys glory of defeating the main villain. He might hep against Imu or whatever though.
