Speculations The End of Stella's Speech

#1
It has been a long while. We thought it was over a couple of times already, but it seems as if the transmission is finally closing up in the next chapter, or the next two chapters at most. As he said, he will end with a prediction of the future.

This can now be argued as the most important part of his speech. Because through this prediction, he can shill any party he wants, and people will take him very seriously on that. I believe he will talk about the Dawn and the end of the current era, predicting the huge "battle royale," the danger of further flooding, the race for the One Piece, and maybe more—things we know but the world does not.

At the end, though, I believe that Vegapunk will try to put his faith in someone out there. Considering who Shaka was talking to and who his long-time friend is, I believe Vegapunk will say something like: "That man can be trusted, that man can save the world... Monkey D. Dragon." However, I believe that he'll be cut off at the end, leaving only "Monkey D...."

It is a bit too imagined of an end, but in terms of how it would move people, it would make a lot of sense. Because it will give people basically three choices:
  • Believe that he meant Garp—the now captured Hero of the Marines—which would give Blackbeard the leverage he needs to be recognized as a nation or cause more public outcry for the Marines if they don't rescue him.
  • Believe that he meant Dragon, the Leader of the Revolutionaries, who is already gaining strength and is supposedly planning big moves behind his perfect "..." poker face. This will spark the flame of revolution in many places.
  • Believe in Monkey D. Luffy, because he is a pirate seeking the One Piece, following Roger's footsteps, and Vegapunk just described that Roger knew everything and, in his opinion, could've done something about everything.
It would be such a neat conclusion, open-ended in just the right way to make everyone who wants to be involved come up with a different conclusion. Knowing Oda, though, he'd probably do something as efficient but completely different.
