Future Events The Gorosei are Opponents for the Strawhats

The Gandhi Gorosei seems to be in all likelihood, an opponent crafted for Zoro:

1. He wields a Supreme Grade sword
   • All the other known wielders of Supreme Grade swords in the manga are at the very top of the World
     • Whitebeard
     • Roger
     • Mihawk
   • Gandhi has been shown polishing and cleaning his sword
2. His sword is the Shodai Kitetsu:
   • Zoro wields the Sandai kitetsu and indicated interest in the Nidai Kitetsu when he encountered it in Wano
   • Even know, it's possible that he traded the Sandai Kitetsu off panel for the Nidai

Given the above two points, it's hard to imagine Gandhi fighting anyone but Zoro.

Gandhi fighting Zoro heavily suggests the Gorosei are opponents for the Strawhats. Some allies might be involved, but it's hard to imagine a situation where the Gorosei are instead defeated by the Revolutionary Army or some other separate faction.

I honestly feel like you can really only make a case for a few of them being strong

Gandhi has a top grade blade, and 2(?) of the other Gorosei have scars that clearly come from battle

The rest of them are fresh and don't really come off as fighters

I think it'll be a split where there are the ones that used to fight (with the perennial youth surgery they could be centuries old) while the rest care more about appeasing Imu and keeping the Void Century on lock

Like looking at them they don’t give an intimidating presence. At most Gandhi wand blondey do because Gandhi Carries a strong blade and blondey is young, but the others? Idk

Only blond and white haired dreads have scars. And they may have been fighters in the old days, but they’re old now. I used to like the gorosei vs Straw Hats fights when Bonney was on Mariejoa, but now that she’s escaped, I can’t think of a way to de age the old guys.

O: I love me some old dudes! I feel like age adds a new sense of depth to characters, both male and female. One Piece has tons of really interesting old people! But in the real world, age tends bring people down to a weaker state… and I’ve always disliked how there are some young people out there who just can’t have a little respect for these aged individuals because of this. So with One Piece, I’ve brought to life one of my countless fantasies: which is for there to be super cool old people who’ve maintained their strength throughout the years.

One day, you also will grow old. It’d be great if all of you could remain just as strong as the One Piece oldies are!

In other words they will be defeated by Major Allies (Not as Major as Shanks/Dragon), and mostly from New Gen

SHs biggest Allies throughout Post-TS Story are Law, Wano, WB Pirates, Germa and Fishmen

So imo Gorosei who represent World Rulers should have a Symbolic Defeat that hypes New Famous Leaders and declare Freedom to most oppressed Groups

Law, Judge, Marco, Momo and Neptune are my Best Guess

It will symbolize that D. (Enemies of CDs) + Independent Kingdoms (Germa) + Orphans who were forced into Piracy due to Poverty (WB Pirates) + Oppressed Races (Fishmen) + Wano (Who should rule instead) are finally free of WG's Shackles

Basically indirectly declaring that everyone is free of WG Rule (Only Final Villains remain)

It would be great if they retained all strength from youth, but we saw odas few older combatants complain about age and never really have serious fights.

Gandhi fighting Zoro heavily suggests the Gorosei are opponents for the Strawhats. Some allies might be involved, but it's hard to imagine a situation where the Gorosei are instead defeated by the Revolutionary Army or some other separate faction.

Add an option of mix of factions. Gandhi vs Zoro maybe the most likely but no indication for the rest as being SHPs opponents and unless there is a huge power difference we can't see the likes Jinbe, Franky and Robin fighting someone on Zoro's opponent tier. So you can maybe have Law and Kidd and Sabo fighting along Zoro against the Gorosei. The young guns against the old geezers.

And btw your reasoning for Gandhi power level is based on a theory (not fact) and consider what it implies. You are putting Gandhi in the same tier as WB, Roger and Mihawk. Saying SHPs will fight Gorosei where so far they are only shown as equals you expect the likes of Sanji, Jinbe, Robin and Franky to fight and defeat guys on Roger's level? Even the biggest fanboys would never put these characters near Roger level.

Honestly I can see the gorosei once being powerhouses, but not anymore and them fighting rulers or warriors from nations connected to Luffy and the ancient Kingdom

Possibly someone from Elbaf as the fifth
