We are learning that the shared abilities among all the Gorosei are borrowed powers from Imu. The immortality and the telepathy.

The other shared ability among all the Gorosei is CoC. And what’s weird is that it’s supposed to be impressive CoC.

Jimbei straight up calls Mars’ haki “unreal”. Jimbei has seen the haki of multiple emperors and yet he says Mars has out of this world haki.

Makes more sense if Jimbei is actually feeling Imu’s haki. Just a small section of Imu’s haki in Mars is “unreal” to Jimbei.

Imu probably has an awakened DF that enables to grant powers to others. Maybe stealing abilities too, like that Pharao guy from Xmen.

I'd expect CoC to be a main requirement to become an elder as it is a feat associated with the predisposition to rule. Just giving it to them won't turn them into conquerors personality wise.
They have impressive CoC due to their pure royal bloodline I'd say.
