Theory The gorosei flames are deactivated from rain

#1
The gorosei have been seemingly indestructible; and have already been pumped with all sorts of various attacks. Everything from haki, explosions, lasers, and more have been fully ineffective in canceling out their regenerative abilities.

At this point, the question isn’t what can hurt them it’s what will be able to deactivate their flame regeneration. And at this point I think a front runner for this is rain and water for two main reasons:

1. If the gorosei have a weakness they’d be aware of, they’d take steps to actively avoid this weakness
2. The gorosei and Imu have a sole enemy in the form of the Ds “the enemy of the gods.” And now I don’t think this is just some metaphorical thing, but a hint that the D actively have a power that worries Imu.

These two reasons made me think what has the WG specifically actively taken steps to limit in the world? Man made rain, specifically in the form of “Dance Powder.” The name dance powder, the powders introduction in Alabasta, and the fact that the World Government outlawed it specifically is all incredibly suspect with what we know now.

So starting with this:
1. The name is suspect because now a days we know that dance is weirdly connected to worship. Whereas Nika, a god that the WG is actively trying to erase, is worshiped through the act.
2. The fact that it was introduced in Alabasta which has recently become much more plot relevant is intriguing. The reintroduction of Pluton, the murder of Cobra, disappearance of Vivi, and the connection Alabastas old queen has with both Imu and the D really makes me question if this plot item will be returned as well.
3. The World Government itself outlawing it is the final curiosity. The official story is that the WG outlawed it because it led to too many deaths from war. After our greater introduction to the WG this is completely unlike them. Mars and Saturn have referred to normal people as insects, Imu destroyed an island merely because it was close. The idea that these leaders outlawed this powder to stop war and the killings of insects doesn’t make sense with their current characters.

As such, why would the WG truly outlaw dance powder? Because of its possibility of being weaponized against them. Namely its power to eliminate the black fire that has been reforming and healing the gorosei granting their immortality.

Their immortality is going to be more place-based, rather than dependant on using certain items/attacks to bypass it.
The Gorosei are the redux Uta's demon: in order to hurt them, you need to attack at once both the Elder in front of you and their original body, left in the dimension (Yomi no land) they come from.

I think flames were due to the attack luffy reflected
Saturn past healing had nothing to do with flames
It just regenerated
The black fire is just zoan awakening

Lucci and Kaku have it

The immortality is something different altogether
When Saturn regenerated his horn and arm the black flame was what regenerated it.

And it’s not zoan awakening otherwise the sash wouldn’t be in multiple forms

That’s true but hey it’s his manga :gokulaugh:just seems weird with haki transcending all we haven’t seen him using it against them yet. Plus it’s weird that if Roger ever met them that he needed rain specifically to beat them.
Remember that’s just Kaidos opinion based on an assumption that Haki was all Roger had. Roger is a D and the connection the D have to rain and storm has just been growing since the reverie. And Oda even showed us Roger’s haki alone was not what put him on Primebeards level, let alone above it.
