Oda’s latest weekly installation of One Piece just landed, and boy that was a hard read. But this manga being on a decline isn’t anything new.
Nevertheless, we still gather here every now and then to reaffirm how cooked this manga is, as we pick the carcass apart.
Pick it apart for agendas, that is.
Let’s get started.
Now, it’s no revelation that zoro gets poked at when it comes to Enma. Criticised, meme’d, made fun of. We’ve all seen the “lend me some haki Oden” memes.
But what exactly from the manga eggs these people on? You’d think zoro actually benefited from an oden haki blast that he packed for him years before he was born or something. (

However, nothing like that actually exists for zoro. Let’s look at the facts.
Kaido feels the presence of Oden within Enma. Discussion over. Oden is metaphysically inside Enma, feeding zoro his power 24/7. Right ? Well, let’s look at Big Mom’s reaction.
Now, what’s got Linlin’s knickers in a twist? She’s never even crossed swords with Oden, but is certain there’s something off about that blade….
Where have we seen this before ?

Zoro felt the presence of @nik87 inside Sandai and instantly recognised it? While that does sound compelling, I don’t think that’s the case. So, what do Enma and Sandai have in common?
That’s right. Sandai and Enma are both cursed blades. The latter having a “disposition so deadly serious, just holding it sends a shiver down your spine”.
And naturally, when kaido is again met with that deadly disposition he last felt wielded by oden 20 years ago, it’s only right he makes the connection.
And it’s not the first time kaido’s ptsd from oden has led him to say some delirious things:
“Do they use his ryou too?”
I don’t even want to imagine what atrocities zoro would be subject to had that line been in reference to him. But since it was referring to the scabbards, water under the bridge.
Despite all this, our loveable marimo still can’t catch a break. All while working hard to tame this incredible sword that would leave any normal swordsman as a “mere husk”.

You know what else is a classic? Shonen MCs being the chosen dragon warrior destined child descendant of the master of the universe.
Or in our case, the sun god Nika D joyboy first pirate Sage of Six Ass king of the world future pirate king. But because that’s too long to type out again and again, I’ll be referring to him as “Luffy”.
Where do I even begin? When was the last time we even saw Luffy? It’s almost like he died on that roof and has been someone else ever since. And I know that’s literally what happened, but I’m being serious.
The very fabric of this story has been flipped on its head, and millions have been sent into an endless slumber of Nika piece. But many people like me are still awake, and are here to tell it like it is.
Look at this. Multiple characters from the void century outright refer to Luffy as joyboy.
Forget zoro using oden’s haki. Motherfucker imagine someone telling zoro he IS oden
Poor kaido. Brother just wanted to host on his private island, but had his party crashed by an ancient deity. “Who are you?” he asked, after being acquainted with Luffy for weeks.
Death? Nope. Joyboy, hit that beat!
And this one just takes the cake. A joyboy haki blast, from 800 years ago, bails Luffy out.
So let’s summarise everything:
Zoro gets slandered to hell cuz kaido commented on Enma’s intense presence (just like how zoro could sense where sandai was).
Meanwhile:
-Multiple characters refer to Luffy as “Joyboy”.
-Kaido asks Luffy: “Who are you?” after going gear 5
-Luffy can casually tell his heart to start beating again in case he starts to die, because why not?
-A literal joyboy haki impact dial bailed Luffy out of his latest dilemma. Yes, canonical and tangible, beyond reasonable doubt. Joyboy’s haki bailed Luffy out.
But oda’s angels will slurp this up while continuing to downplay anything zoro does cuz of Enma; the sword that would kill you if you weren’t strong enough to use it and thrives off taking zoro’s haki.
Their hypocrisy knows no bounds. It runs deep. How deep you ask?
