Speculations The Ideals of the Void Century War

It is wild that no one in the Straw Hats, ESPECIALLY Nami, never once called Vegapunk out for making child soldier-slaves in the Seraphim.
Yes it's weird considering Nami calling Caesar Clown scum for doing child experiments.
Vegapunk's experiments were way worse
Sorry, getting back to the original idea, the only thing about it Yasheen, that I have an issue with, is that the only real dragons we have seen, which was at Punk Hazard...weren't really intelligent at all. Bestial, really. While they certainly could be dangerous, I'm unsure of such dragons being rulers of the world.
The punk hazard dragons are to real dragons what the smile users are to real zoans
Lmao you good. And those weren’t real dragons, they were genetically engineered fakes by Vegapunk.

Also the fandom once considered Seakings as Bestial in nature; however, we were shown in Fishman Island that these are intillegent creatures with their own culture and theology. I believe we may see something similar with the dragons of the verse.
In Japanese mythology, dragons are water creatures,no? The sea kings might he descended /related to the dragons.

Yeah, in the OP I talked about eastern dragons being related to oceans specifically naming the dragon that was alluded to in the Fishman Island arc as the castle they live in (Ryugu Palace) is named after the palace of an ocean god who is a dragon Ryujin.

And I agree, there is absolutely a relationship between dragons and seakings. It’s hard to guess what that relation is because the seakings are such an unknown creature. Hell over 600 chapters later and we just found out they were intelligent life instead of beasts.

I mean why is it that they attack ships in the calm belt? The ''they're just dumb aggressive creatures'' explanation doesn't work.

my view is that the ancient kingdom was ruled by joyboy and imu together. due to rapid technological advancement, they started to argue. joyboy, carless as luffy, wanted to go ahead, with no breaks. imu wanted to supress technology, just like people today want to regulate ai, gene editing and so on. imu persuaded the kings of islands in the sphere of influence of the ancient kingdom. they sided with him against joyboy, who lost the battle. imu got his wish, the world went back technologically, as we found out during egghead.

1. I believe there was Dragons during the void century and that is likely how Oda will insert Ryuma in the story.
2. The war of void century wasnt a war between good and evil, just remember Vegapunk and Rayleigh words. Dragons, the 20 kings, the D, ancient kingdom, none of those had bad ideals. The only one I think had bad ideals was Imu (that means Imu ideals ≠ 20 kings ideals). So I believe Imu foolished the 20 kings making them think that the wg would be a good institution. So Imu wait the other 19 kings to die and then started to rule for his own.
3. Joyboy flood the world to save the wonders and the one piece is very possible tbh
Post automatically merged:

What's still in the dark is whether the moon guys were the ancient kingdom or the allied kings.
Good question. We gonna discover that when Nami be revealed as Kaguya :smoothy:

I don’t think Imu tricked anyone, the way the CDs act without Imus influence is telling (to me) that the 19 royal families who moved to Mariejoa may have already had less than good morality. We know the don quixotes were slavers prior to the Void Century after all.

But I agree the war wasn’t good vs bad. It was basically who does this world belong to and when coexistence is no longer viable what is the answer. Protecting your home or going to a new one.

I still think he tricked the kings because all kings agreed that no one would sit in the throne. They even put their sword in front of the throne to symbolize their equality. And also the fact that the Imu still hidden his existence for the majority of CD (except for the gorosei and holy knights) is a proof of that

I think the CD know things that we and the rest of the world don’t. For example, I feel like they know about Imu and the truth of the void century.

Remember Doffy knew a lot of things about Mariejoa and was able to manipulate the WG thanks to his knowledge.
