if you didn't read it yet, you can find summary on wikipedia or something else.

so oda will follow this story. Momonosuke is momotaro, luffy is the monkey, yamato is the dog, marco is bird. So marco will likely tell zoro:'' stay down and take care of king, i'm going to help luffy up there to beat kaidou'', makes sense considering that sanji is taking on queen

Marco is not a pheasant and has already said that he has no intention of facing Kaido. It would be a horrible choice to send him to the roof in my opinion.

If Marco and Yamato are considered pheasant and dog, respectively, then yeah, it's going to be Momotaro team v Kaido.
I don't know how much Oda cares about technicalities, but saying Marco is a pheasant seems fine to me.
If Yamato is a dog or close enough, then it's the same deal as Marco.

It can be similar to the 5 supernova fight in the sense that Marco, Yamato, and Momo will all be taken away in the end to have a Luffy v Kaido 1-on-1 showdown.

Kaido, the Oni, can get beaten on Onigashima.
Dawn can arrive after his defeat.

However, similar to Thriller Bark, an "unexpected" event will follow.
When everyone thought the fight was over and dawn had arrived, Kuma destroyed everyone's hopes.
Kaido awakening from his loss and coming back achieves the same result.
That's when he gets slain by Zoro, giving us a new Ryuma legend.

Overall, this is one way the plot could go.
It depends on if Oda wants to use the Momotaro tale or not.

His words were he wasn’t going to face Kaido at this moment. He did intend to face Kaido but with no one around capable of holding off the calamities he took that to be his job but now that Zoro and Sanji are back up, he doesn’t have to do that anymore.

I probably read another translation.

In any case, I don't see what Marco has to do with the New Generation mentioned in Oden's diary.

Yeah, and Momo will give Luffy, Marco and Yamato kibi dango, right?

My man Oda gonna destroy characterizations and force fights between characters who have no intention to fight (Yamato vs Kaido).

Because he doesn't write a story, he reenacts references, right?
