Chopper has a ton of potential and I think his awakening will be special.

I wish he'd fight and actually get much more involved in battles and 1v1s. Oda has completely misused him.

• Dressrosa: Part of the shafted half. No fight.
• Whole Cake Island: No traditional matchups to show how the Yonkou differ from past opponents.
• Wano Country: No one left for Chopper to fight (though he did hold his own against Queen and Perospero).

One of my hottest One Piece takes is I think Chopper could've taken Who's-Who if Dogstorm hadn't shafted Jimbei from the Jack fight. If not, someone inbetween Who's-Who and Sasaki.

Sanji literally got one shotted by the gorosei and couldn’t land a single attack. Now he can’t even move from one attack? This is utterly ridiculous. It’s time to accept the fact that Sanji will never be anything more than a hype tool. Trying to tie him to Zoro at this point is completely disrespectful to Zoro.

Sanji needs some serious redemption after this. I’m sure people will say Appo knocked out Luffy to defend Sanji. That doesn’t matter Luffy went on to defeat Kaido after. People might say Zoro got beat by the Yeti cool brothers, so what he went on to neg diff Monet after without even cutting her.

Sanji has to do something this is so trash. I thought this hype tool shit was over.

Until the feats add up don’t compare Sanji to Zoro fuck the narrative. If Zoro and Sanji are the wings of the Pirate King than Luffy can’t fly because he big wing and a very small one.

I think the root cause of it all is Oda regarding Chopper as more of a mascot rather than an actual character.
