After reading and replying to @Brix , some ideas came to me.

What if the Ancient Kingdom crest was a full moon or Sun? What if they were people from the moon?

So far we have 5 important clans linked to the Moon
D. Clan (I call them Dawn Clan)
Amatsuki
Shimotsuki
Kozuki
Minks (with their Sulong)

Here is my theory and take :

It all happened between 1200-801 years ago,
Before descending, The People of the Moon casted some spells or powers with their advanced technology through the moon light unto the earth which made ancient creatures such aa Sea Kings and Zunisha to be linked to Ancient weapons : Poseidon linked to Sea Kings, Momo(anyone from Kozuki with power like Momo could do it) linked to Zunisha...

The moon light casted on Zunisha back which already had an island , turned the animals into Minks (start talking and having human traits)!

The Kozuki clans then started crafting Road Poneglyphs in case of war, so that people may find the truth and change the world.
while the Ds were given task to carry the will and lead many to the light (Dawn).

This is why they sentenced Zunisha and placed an RP there so that it will be difficult for outsiders and evil man to not find it.
Laugh Tale which was mainly Dawn Clan Island, was where they kept many truth and stuff.

Hmm seems interesting and probable, but how would you explain about Wano's role/place? I mean, 3 of the 5 clans you listed are from Wano but the entire island itself seems not to be related to the moon (considering the many other clans that live there)
