We know that there use to be a civilization on the Moon and that they went down to the "Blue Planet", once the resources were used up. But what if the Moon was once part of the "Blue Planet" and is actually made up of some of the pieces of the Planet that were thought to be destroyed during the War?

The Moon is currently "apart" from the planet.
What you mean to say is that it was once "a part" of the planet.
"Apart" is separated. "A part" is a piece, as in "along with the rest".

Also, your idea doesn't make much sense? You're saying that the war waged on the planet blew up pieces which went into orbit, merged together in a makeshift satellite, and became the moon where subsequently planet inhabits went to in order to get some of the resources lost in the war? Then they came back down, and settled on the sky islands?
