I know this isn’t a power scaling thread but that must be a factor as to why you like Akainu equally to Blackbeard, no? How can you like an admiral that got two-shotted equally to Blackbeard?

Whenever Whitebeard causes more concentrated attacks he always envelops his attack in a bubble. When he doesn’t we know he just goes for a bigger vibration attack that’s bigger in AoE to cause more collateral damage
This attack is less powerful than the first attack Akainu takes that is enveloped in a bubble
WB only generates this large attack in AoE so as to allow his crew to escape. His priority wasn’t even about taking out Akainu yet he did by accident
Literally took out Akainu BY ACCIDENT.
Blackbeard took a quake to the head which was same (arguably greater) than Akainu, a slash from his weapon , then fought Sengoku
Akainu is taken out by accident from an attack that isn’t concentrated in lethality lol. Akainu is massively outshined by Blackbeard in the physical toughness department
But that’s just powerscaling. If powerscaling is the only reason to like Akainu then he fails the test
As for overall character
Isn’t Blackbeard a lot more entertaining, he has got a lot more mystery still about him, he has more charisma, there’s a lot more content and depth to his character. Blackbeard is always up to something fun and exciting, while Akainu always bitches about pirates
What is so fascinating about Akainu’s character that he can placed on equal pedestal to Blackbeard? Akainu is just a plain evil psychopath that speaks in platitudes about “righteous” And “absolute justice” like he is literally obsessed and driven by mania more than anything else
Akainu can’t even give a good justification for his philosophy. He cant even respond Coby, he just responds by killing him. That’s how “interesting” his philosophy is
Akainu doesn’t have any wits to give even a worthy response.
Akainu can’t even lead by charisma. Akainu couldn’t talk a scared marine into rejoining the battle so he just killed him instead. Akainu has no ability to inspire fodders without the threat of violence.
He wasn’t elected by the marines. Instead he got Celestial Dragons wanting him to be fleet admiral so the entire decision to make Aokiji fleet admiral got revoked just because Celesrial Dragons wanted Akainu instead
What’s so interesting about Akainu’s character motivation or his philosophy that you think he is equal to Blackbeard in that respect?
Any sane person should find Blackbeard a much more intriguing choice than admirals
