When Roger reached laugh tale he said that he was a bit too early to do something with what he found there....

Now we know that the Nika DF always ran away from the WG and we probably assumed that in those years nobody awakened (or even possessed) the fruit except for Joyboy & now Luffy

But what if there was another Joyboy ? Someone that managed to awaken the Nika DF more specifically 200 years ago but unfortunatelly was too early like Roger ?.....

That would explain a couple of things:

1) Why the Ancient Robot randomly awakened
2) 200 years ago the Fishmen joined the WG, and maybe that person was trying to fulfill the promise of bringing the fishmen back to the surface but ultimately failed

Not sure if this possibility was ever discussed, but what do you guys think ?

But yeah two big things happening 200y ago at the same time can be a red flag, and yeah someone was maybe the reason behind that

Noland should be around 400 years ago idk about Ryuma....

I thought that the other possible explanation for the robot awakening was that the DF almost got in the WG's hands and he tried to save it but the fishmen thing is also an interesting connection

But Kuma acting like the Robot really changed my mind tbh

It's possible that Ancient Robot was Awakened for same reason Kuma was Awakened recently
And by the same Power Source (Which i believe is Power of Love)

Maybe Ancient Robot didn't Attack Mary Geoise, He just wanted to reach other side to Attack an Enemy
Just like Kuma targeted Saturn (The Obstacle between him & his Love/Daughter)

So maybe a New Enemy appeared 200 Years Ago, and that's who Ancient Robot wanted to Fight
And why did it happen at same time with Fishmen Discrimination? Because this Enemy's Crimes made People accuse Fishmen

Recently we learned about a Mysterious Unknown Pirate with Whirlpools Powers, if his Crimes started 200 Years Ago (People disappearing in Whirlpools), then Public will obviously accuse Fishmen because they are the ones capable of starting Whirlpools as seen during Arlong Park Arc

This is why i believe instead of an Old Ally who appeared 200 Years Ago, it's actually an Old Enemy

Since Egghead Arc started, there was a lot of Hints about an Unscientific Power Source
Something that Drives People that cannot be explained by Science

It was among first things Lilith said
It was teased again with Ancient Robot's Power Source
And again with Kuma
And again with Sanji against Kizaru
And again with how S-Snake was in Love with Luffy
... etc

So i'm not saying Kuma & Ancient Robot's Stories are Related
But i'm saying that "Power Source" of Ancient Robot is same Energy that allowed Kuma to Move, and it also what fuels Sanji's Power
Which is "Love" (Haki born from Emotions/Ties instead of Willpower)
Characters who have this Power are like Heroes

Remember Sora from Germa Comics? Didn't He have a Companion Robot?
Vegapunk's Robot was also designed to look like Ancient Robot. Automata created by a Scientist from Vega's Island also went to Moon to Fight out of Love for their Creator (Even though They are 100% Robots), We even saw the ones on the Moon being Emotional when their Makers Left

Just like there is Concept of Inherited Will in One Piece, there seems to be Inherited Love
And it's triggered whenever someone They care about is in need of saving

Regarding Roger, it is obvious that this means Joy Boy is not yet born.
Perhaps he knows prophecies similar to those in Wano that predict someone will arrive in 20 years to open Wano.

Hmm. It's very speculative. We would have gotten a concrete proof of it if that was the case.

Obviously I don't think the Giant Robot runs because of Nika Awakening.
Vegapunk claiming the AK was super advanced...but has to rely on nika powers seems BS......

but this is oda he can do that. Anyway not much thought is put in this whole plot, maybe some Giant we will meet would be related to this plot.
