General & Others THE ONE PIECE by WIT studio

Wouldn't it be better to produce 'episodes of' certain arcs that were heavily butchered like Marineford and Dressrosa? A lot of the earlier arcs (even for today's standard) still look great, just look at how good Thriller Bark and Saboady look in the anime. The East Blue saga has already been reanimated twice anyway and that is overlooking the fact that the original episodes were not bad either.

Weird to see, especially since the original anime hasn't even ended yet, but alright.
No one watching it, except old fans and small part of new fans who managed to watch more then 1000 episodes

ofc NOT, it's same as Hunter x Hunter remake. Old animation was really good, and just compare scene with Illumi and Kilua with 2011 version:

But the pacing was different, also it's hard to make people to watch 20 fillers and anime where 1 chapter = 1 episode.

Same goes for Kurapika vs Uvogin it was great fight in 1999 year, with his praying and more atmospehe things.

No. Netflix wants to "reboot" OP for a new generation. The older episodes look too dated and they also have bad pacing. If this new version succeeds then Netflix will extend it to newer arcs.

I prefer the 1999 version too but I think the 2011 version does a better job capturing the tone of the show. HXH isn't that serious of a show.
