The setup for the final war is that the WG will have probably made the planet uninhabitable by then with the way Doffy points out how long it takes to before all the cities are drowned.
So the end game probably takes place one Uranus hit away from doomsday. Therefore saving the world involves REVERSING THE SEA LEVEL.
What else but the one piece itself can REVERSE the sea level.
I mean the speculation here is
1. Doffy prediction that 4 more shots of Uranus will happen and the world will be mostly uninhabited
2. We need to reverse the water level at end of the story
3. It’s the one piece that reverses the water level
These are speculations are supported by a few points.
1. Oda loves his “time bombs” and Doffy gave us the time bomb of the final saga
2. Oda always has the time bomb be stopped only at the very end so either 3 or 4 shots of the mother flame are very likely to occur
3. The world will not be saved simply by beating whoever, the water level has to be reversed.
4. We have exhausted all possible methods of doing this reversal but the One piece. As in the ancient weapons don’t have the power to reverse this. Luffy, the MC doesn’t have a sea level reversing superpower.
5. Everyone who knows even a little bit about the Sea level rising (Vegapunk and Roger pirates) all say that everyone should go after the one piece.
